Students learned how to Batik, which is a wax resist process on fabric. Students focused on our beautiful state, and more specifically, our town of Stowe. Students exhibited their creativity, and love for where we live by making these unique flags.
This 8th grade fundraiser will benefit the Stowe Middle/High School Green Team, which will help reduce our carbon footprint, and make our school more environmentally friendly. We are working towards replacing our broken water fountains, and installing permanent composting and recycling areas throughout our school.
We will be holding the silent auction at Stowe Middle/High School on Thursday May 1st during Academic Fair (6pm-7:30pm). The bids will start at $5.00 and increase by at least $2.00 increments. Come join us and have some fun bidding for these beautiful handmade batiks!
